At our schools, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students is a top priority. As part of this commitment, we want to inform you about Assembly Bill 452 (AB 452), a recent law that mandates parental notification of firearm safety laws by public and private schools in California.

The Journey School will be open Thursday and Friday, September 12-13, 2024. Thursday will follow the regular minimum day schedule. Friday will follow the regular full day schedule.

Our hearts are with each of you as we navigate the impact of the local fires on our community. We have been in constant communication with county officials, district leaders, and fire personnel to stay informed and make the best decisions for everyone. The safety and well-being of our students, families, and staff is our top priority.
